The Institute for Global Commerce serves as the primary University center for research, education and activities that consider the stabilization of global marketplace links among countries and cultures and how these links encourage commerce and support world peace. The Institute maintains relations, at the highest levels, with the United Nations, the United States Department of State and transnational corporations. The Institute sponsors and conducts activities in five areas:
