Master of Administrative Science Degree Program
Fairleigh Dickinson's 30-credit Master of Administrative Science (MAS) degree is designed to advance the leadership skills and abilities of professionals in the government, military, public and non-profit sectors.
The MAS can be obtained through all-online study, or through a combination of on- and off-campus studies.
Why does the program include graduate certificates?
The MAS curriculum is structured to enable students to earn certificates in 15 different areas that will advance their professional credentials as they pursue their master's degree. Students can tailor their studies to their specific career objectives and needs. Each certificate is comprised of four 3-credit courses (12 credits per certificate). All credits earned can be applied toward the Master of Administrative Science degree.
There are currently four certificates in homeland security that can be earned fully online:
(* These courses were developed in collaboration with the National Guard Bureau.)
A fifth online certificate -- Computer Security and Forensic Administration -- will begin in 2005.
Other certificates available in the program are currently offered only through off-campus studies at 45 sites throughout the state of New Jersey. They are not offered online.
