You began at FDU as a Graduation Specialist in 1994 and relished the opportunity to support students along their academic journeys. You quickly assumed a leadership role, gained comprehensive understanding of the Records Office’s entire operations and were promoted in 2001 to the position of Associate Director of Academic Records. With tremendous passion and concern for students’ welfare, you skillfully guide them through their academic requirements and faithfully support them right up to the moment of graduation. Always available and easily approachable, you offer the same level of support and direction for your staff, as well as members of other departments. Although you recently had to completely re-staff the office, your guidance and teaching quickly energized a new team. Propelled by a tireless work ethic, you always give 110 percent to your students and your University. As a member of the Campus Disciplinary Committee, your sense of integrity and fair play prove judicious time and time again. For always striving to serve others and for doing it with great class and with a smile, we recognize today how irreplaceable you are and proudly present you with the Pillar Award.
