The Literary Review's New Web Site

Walter Cummins, English, F-M, and editor-in-chief of The Literary Review, FDU’s international journal of contemporary writing, announces that the publication has established a new Web site titled TLRWEB. “We are receiving much more excellent poetry and fiction than we can possibly fit in our quarterly print issue,” said Cummins. The new site is located at http://webdelsol.com/tlr/tlrweb/ and allows additional work to be presented to the Internet reader. This site is different from the print issue selections online that the journal has been posting for a number of years. “Our hope is that TLRWEB will bring more readers to The Literary Review and will increase our visibility, especially with the new creative writing graduate program being developed.”

The review also will sponsor a free guest reading, celebrating the publication of “Imagining Wales,” by guest editors Tony Curtis and Christopher Meredith, Wednesday, February 21, at 7 p.m. at the Teachers & Writers Collaborative, 5 Union Square West, N.Y.C.
In November, the journal sponsored a panel discussion at the Stevens Institute of Technology Biennial Conference for Contemporary Literary Translation in Hoboken, N.J. Organized and chaired by Rene Steinke, senior editor, The Literary Review, the panel discussed “Fake It or Leave?: Translating Works that Resist Being ‘Englished’.” William Zander, English, F-M, and one of the journal’s editors, was among the participants.
