English Computer Scientist SpeaksChris Bloor, principal lecturer in computer science at the University of Sunderland in Sunderland, England, which was just dubbed by Queen Elizabeth as England’s best new University, spoke on “Establishing and Maintaining a Distance Master’s and Doctoral Program” on October 10 at the Teaneck-Hackensack Campus. Bloor, one of Europe’s premier authors of papers in the area of brain computer interfaces, established a postgraduate computer distance-learning program that has furthered science while creating much needed revenue for his university. The lecture was sponsored by the School of Computer Science and Information Systems. |
