Education Knows No Bounds

The Educational Program for Older Persons (EPOP), a Florham-Madison Campus program intended for those 65 years of age and older, offers undergraduate and graduate degree classes on a space-available basis at a low cost ($120 fee per course), courses taught by other EPOP members, field trips, seminars and art shows.

“I know the program from first-hand experience, having had hundreds of EPOP students enrolled in my classes over the years. It’s an exciting opportunity for individuals to study for a degree or for personal growth and enjoyment in the academic environment,” says Neil Salzman, history/political science, F-M, who was recently named EPOP director.

EPOP has been a part of the University since 1972, when the program was initiated by Joseph Tramutola, retired, business law, F-M, founder and former director, EPOP. Geraldine Cucciniello, EPOP coordinator, F-M, welcomes inquiries and has available videotapes about the program, descriptive materials, application forms and registration instructions. She can be reached at x8653.
