Human Resource Committee FormedA human resource committee has been established to develop and maintain a comprehensive employee education/training program that will move the University toward the fulfillment of its educational mission and its goal of attaining most-desired employer status. The program is to include University policies, federal and state employment laws and supervisors’ and employees’ responsibilities.The committee, appointed by Sally Hashem, associate vice president of human resources, T-H, is chaired by Scott Behson, management, T-H, who teaches human resource management and has a broad background in the field of training. Other committee members are: Richard Bettencourt, senior program director, continuing education, T-H; Maureen Curry, manager of salary administration and Florham-Madison Campus human resources, F-M; Ann DeMeskey, assistant director of human resources, T-H; Gregory Hammill, executive director, Center for Human Resource Management Studies, F-M; Judith Kaufman, psychology, T-H; Lissa Winters, University employment administrator, T-H; Michele Vaccaro, MBA program adviser/assistant to provost for special events, T-H; and Karen Yates, special assistant to the provost, F-M. Hashem said, “As this is designed to be a University committee, your involvement is welcomed. Please contact any committee member and share your comments/recommendations as we build this program.” |
