FDU · news and publications · calendar of events · help Milestone Dinner for Klika and KindelWilliam Klika, athletic director and retired football coach, F-M, and Roger Kindel, associate athletic director and head basketball coach, F-M, are being recognized with a Milestone Dinner for their 25 years of service to Division III athletics. The event will be held in the Ferguson Recreation Center, Florham-Madison Campus, on Friday, May 31. Klika launched the Devils football program and served as its coach for 25 years. He has been active on many Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and National Collegiate Athletic Association committees and was honored with the Metro Award, given by the ECAC. Kindel is the winningest coach in the program’s history and earned his 300th win (now at 302) on January 6, 2002. He has led the Devils to 11 postseason tournaments and been selected Coach of the Year by various organizations five times. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., dinner and the ceremony are at 7 p.m. The cost is $75 per person, $50 for faculty and staff.
