Alumni Available as Guest LecturersA guest lecture program involving alumni has been established by the University’s Development Office in cooperation with the academic departments.The first guest lecturer was Gilbert Bashe, BA’76, R, chief executive officer of CommonHealth, Parsippany, N.J., and a new member of FDU’s Board of Trustees. Students in the International Marketing class heard Bashe speak on his personal experiences in international marketing last month at the Teaneck-Hackensack Campus. He was a guest of James Hutton, marketing, T-H. Faculty have been asked to make a list of topics that they would like addressed by guest lecturers during class sessions. When a match is found with an alumni expert, contact between faculty and alumni is initiated. Faculty who are interested in learning more about the program should contact Gary Jaworski, sociology, F-M, and director, major gifts/planned giving, at x7005. |
