FDU Literary ReviewThe Literary Review, which has been publishing quarterly since 1957, is known for its unique role among literary magazines of devoting entire issues to contemporary writing from specific nations, cultures or languages. Over the years it has brought English translations of contemporary fiction, poetry, essays, interviews and review essays from throughout the world to the attention of its readers. This includes issues on Japan, Africa, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Switzerland and China, as well as on writers of the Indian Commonwealth and new writing in French and Portuguese. The Literary Review also publishes the work of many leading American writers, which is often reprinted in books or honored by inclusion in anthologies.Through subscriptions to libraries and individuals in the United States and throughout the world, and through sale in more than 400 bookstores, The Literary Review reaches several thousand readers in approximately fifty countries. Fairleigh Dickinson University sponsors and supports its staffing and production. The cost for a one-year subscription to The Literary Review is $18 domestic, $21 foreign; a two-year subscription is $30 domestic, $36 foreign.
