Charting a Course for World Citizens

In a snapshot from their new book, Coming of Age in a Globalized World: The Next Generation, FDU President J. Michael Adams and FDU Magazine Executive Editor Angelo Carfagna explore the motivation for and meaning of world citizenship, while offering a potential roadmap for educators and citizens.

Their words will be on display at the United Nations this fall with the work of renowned photographer Steve McCurry. To help coordinate the exhibit, FDU Associate Vice President for Communications and Marketing Arthur Petrosemolo journeyed to Afghanistan alongside McCurry. His impressions of the war-torn land frame the backdrop for this unique exhibit.
