Vancouver Horizon FULL

Vancouver Summer Study Abroad

  • Spend a week in Vancouver at a beautiful time of year there
  • Choose one or two of five courses all specifically designed to take advantage of the location
  • Complete three or six credit hours at lower tuition and in fewer weeks than most FDU summer courses
  • Seats are limited and are open to non-FDU students, so ask questions online or contact your academic advisor right away

During this innovative five-week schedule, students can complete as many as two three-credit undergraduate courses. Each of the five courses offered either begins or ends in scenic and cosmopolitan Vancouver, province of British Columbia, Canada.

Students taking two courses must choose one of the two courses that begin in New Jersey and end in Vancouver, and one of the three courses that begin in Vancouver and end in New Jersey.

Students enrolling in these courses will be charged the FDU-Vancouver tuition rate of only $525 a credit, which will significantly offset their travel and course fees! Three credits in three weeks or six credits in five weeks is a very productive use of summer semester time.

Registration for courses in this special summer program ensures students of a course seat, round trip airfare and accommodations while in Vancouver.  Registration opens on January 21, 2008.  Register online at FDU Webadvisor, or to register in person visit the Registration Office on either New Jersey campus.

Students who register for one or two courses will not be required to submit any payments until April 1, 2008 when their one-time travel fee of $1,250 is due.  Additional payments (tuition and course fees) are not due until June 1, 2008.  Students are encouraged to register early for courses in this program.  Seats are limited, so hurry!
