United Nations Pathways

FDU has been associated with the United Nations since its inception in 1945, and that tradition has deepened through our partnership with the Ambassador’s Club at the UN; our NGO status with the UN’s Department of Public Information; and since July 2009, our Special Consultative Status as a Non Governmental Organization with the UN Economic and Social Council. The United Nations Pathways, organized by the Office of Global Learning, provides diverse U.N. program opportunities for our FDU community.

FDU is very pleased to extend this opportunity for students and educators in the Vancouver community to take part in two video conferences each semester. The presentations, which will take place in New Jersey, will include high school and university students from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. This provides a very unique opportunity for students in Vancouver to make connections with students from across the continent and to have the chance to hear from some very distinguished speakers on issues affecting the United Nations.
