Students’ poster exhibition created by biology majors, discussing the health and social justice issues concerning AIDS and the LGBTQIA+ community. Sponsored by FDU Vancouver. Talk by speaker Phiroozeh Petigara. Petigara is a queer South Asian healer, writer, and teacher. A trauma informed yoga instructor, reiki practitioner, and storytelling coach, Petigara specializes in supporting queer and trans BIPOC (Black, indigenous, and people of color) as they endeavor to lead healing and authentic lives.
