Videography Student Worker

As a student videographer, you will be involved in the nuts and bolts of everything video-related, from shooting to editing to uploading. As a big fan of web video, you will need to be able to edit projects quickly using video editing software. We will count on you to bring in ideas of your own for stories to be told through video.

If you are someone who always knows what is going on around campus from athletics and campus activities to community events, then we want to hear from you. As a video intern you will have a first glimpse of the latest events and have hands-on involvement posting short-form videos to FDU’s social media channels.

The position pays $10 an hour and is on a freelance, project-based basis.


  • Interest and knowledge in creating web videos that entertain, inform and inspire
  • Experience editing videos. Familiar with video editing software
  • Ability to edit videos to fit on different social media platforms
  • Possesses some video equipment
  • Timely turnaround for final product

Photography Student Worker

As a student photographer, you will be involved in every component of photography — from selecting scenic locations for campus landscape and beauty shots, to choosing the right camera settings to make sure you capture the perfect shot.

You will use your photography skills to edit photos you have taken on and around campus. Photos will be used on our social media channels, University website and maybe even in FDU Magazine, to keep the FDU community informed and engaged in campus life, activities and events.

The position pays $10 an hour and is on a freelance, project-based basis.


  • Has experience with basic photography including landscape and beauty shots, and campus event shoots
  • Ability to take and send phone photos and videos during live events for Instagram story content as things happen
  • Possesses some photography equipment
  • Timely turnaround for photos
