Virtual Online New Student Orientation Modules
The virtual orientation modules will allow each participant to experience what it means to be a Metropolitan Campus student, both in and out of the classroom and are designed to complement the orientation dates listed above. Answers to common new student questions are presented throughout the online modules. This online experience will help each student to better understand how to succeed academically and socially during their time at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus.
Students can expect to learn:
- What it means to be a college student
- Information on university and academic resources
- University policy and procedures
- University systems (Webcampus, Self-Service, and Webmail)
- The FDU and Metro Campus culture
- Getting involved on campus
All new students who have made a deposit to FDU will receive in May 2023 a link to access the modules. You will need your FDU NetID to log into the modules. Once you complete the modules, you can log back in at any time and revisit any section.
