The application for fall 2021 admission into the University Honors Program, Honors Academy, and Global Scholars (Metro Campus) has closed. The application for fall 2022 will open in early fall 2021.
The University Honors Program and Global Scholars (Metro Campus) have rolling admissions from mid-December into the summer.
Fairleigh Dickinson University provides high-achieving students with academic opportunities and special programming through Honors Academy and University Honors programs.
Students in the FDU Honors Academy join an exclusive cohort of motivated students from a wide variety of disciplines. Together, you will work closely to explore and address common problems and critical global issues such as sustainability, human rights, and the impact of technology on modern life.
The University Honors Program offers gifted and motivated students the opportunity to pursue a course of college study that combines a broad liberal education with intensive, guided study in a particular major field of interest. The Honors Program encourages experiential learning outside of the classroom.
Global Scholars students complete an organized and integrated course of study that combines intensive academic multi-disciplinary learning environments with a cross-spectrum of cultural living experiences on and off campus. This program is only on the Metropolitan Campus.

In order to be eligible for each program, incoming freshman must meet the minimum academic requirements and must submit the application to be offered a virtual interview with the Honors Team and Community. More details will be listed on the FDU Honors Application. The University Honors Program and Global Scholars (Metro Campus) have rolling admissions from mid-December into the summer. For the Honors Academy, the Priority Deadline is December 1. The Regular Deadline is January 1. If any spots remain after that, Academy applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
University Honors Program and Global Scholars (Metro Campus) have opportunities for transfer students and current FDU students to join after their first year. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details, but do not use the application form linked here. Honors Academy admission is only available for incoming first year students.
