Study Abroad with CIEE

The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) offers a wide variety of college study abroad programs during the semester, summer, and January term. Students can choose from more than 500 programs across 49 cities and regions worldwide. Many CIEE locations also offer internship opportunities, allowing students to develop professional skills and gain experience in real-world work environments while abroad. CIEE is a nonprofit, nongovernmental exchange organization that has provided high-quality study abroad opportunities for 80 years.

Study Abroad at Wroxton College

A historic red-brick manor house featuring classic English Tudor or Jacobean architecture. The multi-story building displays ornate stonework, decorative mullioned windows with leaded glass, multiple gables with steep slate roofs, carved stone balconies with intricate balustrades, and tall brick chimneys. The warm-toned brickwork shows characteristic patterns and decorative details. Mature trees and landscaping surround the building, which appears to be set in park-like grounds under a bright sky.At Wroxton you will encounter the quintessential English village scene. With its idyllic location close to Stratford- upon-Avon, London and Birmingham, the “Wroxton Experience” is a beloved part of the experience of many FDU past and present students. Study Abroad at FDU Vancouver

Study Abroad FAQs

Can I use my financial aid to pay for study abroad for the summer?

For CIEE study abroad: You can use state and federal financial aid to pay for your CIEE study abroad experience. You can apply any FDU scholarship money to the FDU study-abroad fee for the semester you are abroad.

For Wroxton or Vancouver study abroad: You can use state and federal financial aid, as well as any FDU scholarship money, to pay for your Wroxton or Vancouver study abroad experience.

Are there any grants or scholarships available for study abroad?
How much does it cost to study abroad?

The cost to study abroad varies depending on program, destination, etc. Reach out to the CIEE, Wroxton, or Vancouver contact for costs related to your program of interest.

When is the best time in my academic journey to study abroad?

The best time for many students is during the junior year, but that varies based on academic program and progress. Talk to your advisor in the Center for Academic Advising and Student Success (CAASS) to help determine the time that is best for you.

What if I can't go abroad for a full semester?
