Dean of Students

The Office of the Dean of Students serves as an advocate for students and is responsible for overall coordination of disciplinary matters, student government advisement, student handbook, orientation, and commencement.

The Office of the Dean of Students is here to support students throughout their university experience. As a student advocate and trusted resource, our office helps students navigate challenges, connect with campus resources, and find the information and support they need to thrive.

Our office provides leadership and coordination for a range of important student-centered programs and services, including student conduct and disciplinary matters, student government advising, the Student Handbook, new student orientation, and Commencement.

Most importantly, you don’t have to know exactly where to go to ask for help. The Office of the Dean of Students is a great place to start when you have a question, need guidance, are facing a challenge, or simply aren’t sure which office or resource can assist you. We are committed to listening, helping you identify your options, and connecting you with the right people and resources.

Students, families, and members of the university community are always welcome to reach out. Whatever brings you to our office, we are here to listen, advocate, and help you move forward.
