Academic Profile

Colleen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  She first joined Fairleigh Dickinson University in August 2003 as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of the University Library, then was promoted to PR and Marketing Coordinator for the University Library.  In this role, she worked with faculty to establish library-sponsored programming for the University community, and with FDU’s PublicMind Poll to establish the “Politics on the PublicMind” series, which brought current political figures to campus.

In 2012 the opportunity arose to support the establishment and growth of the School of Pharmacy as the Assistant to the Deans, where she spent 9+ years assisting in the growth of the school into the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.  During that time the school added four new health science programs, as well as many new faculty and students.  The school’s footprint grew from one floor of a 3-story building to all three floors plus half of the first floor of a second building.  Assisting in this growth brought her tremendous satisfaction.

In her current role as the Manager of Budgets and Building Operations for the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Colleen advises the Dean and all program directors regarding budget issues.  She also has been managing and continues to manage the reconstruction of two floors in the first building, as well as modifications to the space in the second building.  As the School of Pharmacy & Health Sciences continues to grow, Colleen will continue to contribute to its success.
