Definition
Single degree supported by two agencies (one educational/one clinical) offering an integrated program – MUST APPLY to both – receive ONE diploma from educational agency (and usually certificate from clinical agency).
Diploma Factors
ONE degree diploma (educational agency) and ONE certificate (clinical agency)
Concurrent
Start coursework at Agency A, then add coursework at Agency B (one degree so only one completion date)
Application/Acceptance Factors
- OPTIMAL: Apply to both agencies at same time and get accepted to both programs at same time.
- LESS OPTIMAL: Apply to each agency at separate times and get accepted to second program separately, separated by time from acceptance to first program.
Financial Aid and Scholarship Factors
Financial aid from primary agency usually available across entire program.
