FDU Intramural Funding

The University Provost Intramural Grant program is published each spring to cultivate FDU faculty research, offering project support, professional mentorship, and research protected time as needed. Proposals are peer-reviewed, must be meritorious and have the potential for extramural support. Read more about the grant program.

You may also inquire with your College administrative office about College Grant-in-Aid  opportunities. Please note that these programs are outside the purview of GSP.

InfoEd

InfoEd is a licensed online technology for (a) grants tracking, proposal development and electronic submission, and (b) access to government and non-government funding opportunities.

InfoEd SPIN Global is a robust database of federal, state, local government, foundation and private non-profit funding opportunities. It offers (a) a publicly-accessible free text method for Basic Searches; (b) direct access to Fed Biz Opps and the US Federal Register Guide; (c) account-specific (login required) methods for Advanced Searches; and (d) the ability to save Advanced Searches to a personal file. The system will then deliver tailored output/“SMARTS” alerts to your desktop as matches are found and conform to selected preferred frequency, e.g., daily.

To Get Started:

  1. Create a New Profile in InfoEd SPIN Global to unleash the full power of this search engine.
  2. Select your Preferences

Grants.gov

Grants.gov is a centralized portal used by the majority of federal agencies for (a) finding government funding, and (b) submitting and tracking government grant proposals. Proposals to federal agencies have all transitioned to electronic submission.

Grants.gov, as a search engine, is a comprehensive source for locating and learning more about federal funding opportunities. It permits the execution of basic or advanced searches by agency, grant category or keyword. Automatic updates are also available by signing on for email alerts.

Grants.gov, for proposal preparation and electronic submission, allows for system-to-system transmission of grant proposals. The GSP is registered to officially submit proposals electronically on behalf of FDU.
