Press release: A Musical Feast performed by All Seasons Chamber Players

Teaneck, NJ (September 5, 2018) – The All Seasons Chamber Players, one of New Jersey’s most popular and active chamber ensembles, will perform a special concert of chamber music at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 30 in Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Edward Williams Hall (150 Kotte Place, Hackensack, N.J.). The event is sponsored by the Cultural Arts Department and will also include a reception and art exhibit of work by Claire Heimarck entitled Place Marks.”

About the Program

The program, A Musical Feast, will include Carmen Rhapsody based on themes from Bizet’s Carmen by Michael Webster. A mini-cello recital of varied pieces by cellist E. Zoe Hassman; Tarantaella for Flute, Violin and Piano by Saint-Saens; and the magnificent Piano Trio in C Minor by Mendelssohn. Robert Lawrence, Co-Director of Programs, will introduce each piece to the audience with personal program notes.

Performers will include flutist Lisa Hansen of Leonia, violinist Bob Lawrence of NYC; cellist E. Zoe Hanssman of NYC and pianists Jean Strickholm of Demarest and Jacqueline Schilller-Audi of Paramus.

Now in its 38 season, the All Seasons Chamber players has performed more than 800 live concerts in the metropolitan area. In addition, thousands of people have heard the ensemble on local TV stations. Ensemble performers are professional musicians who also play with major area orchestras, Broadway shows and summer music festivals.

Winner of the Award for Artistic Excellence from the Bergen County of Division of Cultural Affairs, the ensemble has also received grants from several corporate and private sectors.

Admission to the concert, reception and art exhibit is free and all are welcome. The audience is invited and to come as early as 2 p.m. to enjoy the art exhibit and reception before the 3 p.m. concert. There is ample free parking and seating, and reservations are not needed.
