Matches were held at stadiums around the United States. The event ran from June 14 through July 13, 2025.

Reyes, a business administration major on the Metropolitan Campus, volunteered at MetLife Stadium on the hospitality team.

“I was not a soccer fan before this. But I learned so much. It was such a great cultural experience,” she says. “FIFA is a global organization, and its values align with mine. I grew up in a multicultural town and FDU is culturally diverse, so it was easy for me to connect and talk to the people I met and worked with.”

The hospitality team greeted and guided fans and VIP guests to their seats, fan zones and suites.

Reyes plans to apply for a volunteer position again with FIFA, this time for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
