Student Leadership Development Day

STUDENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT DAY!

Wednesday, September 30th.

Exciting workshops and sessions running all day on both NJ campuses, designed to help you develop your leadership skills and set you up for success in campus organizations and in your careers. We’ll be adding more information here, so check back soon for a recommended (but not required) registration form, the day’s full schedule, and more detail on each session/presenters.

The day will be structured like a mini-conference that will provide students with leadership workshops and interactive sessions provided by internal partners, with 3 or so concurrent sessions running in adjacent rooms in 3 time slots mid-morning through early afternoon (10am, 11:15, 12:30), with a final 2pm community-wide speaker event (“a conversation on leadership” with Knights Women’s Basketball Coach – and mid-majors coaching legend – Stephanie Gaitley and Provost Ben Rifkin) as the finale.

The vision for the day is (a) to help develop the leadership skills of our students, and (b) bring together all of the awesome student programming we do at FDU on the same day so we can showcase to the students all we do while building a larger audience for our programming.
