Fairleigh Dickinson University is proud to recognize Maanik Puri as this year’s recipient of the FDU Vancouver Volunteer of the Year Award. 🏆As one of the founding leaders of the FDU Vancouver Alumni Association, Maanik has played an important role in building an engaged and connected alumni community. Through his leadership, he has helped grow the Association’s presence and bring alumni together through networking and community-building initiatives.Beyond his contributions to FDU, Maanik has built a strong career in visual arts with DNEG, contributing to major productions including Dune: Part Two, which won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. He later returned to his alma mater as an instructor, sharing his industry expertise and mentoring the next generation of visual effects artists.
