Faculty, Staff Honored for Milestone Years of Service
Congratulations to those employees who have reached their special anniversary years of service. Their awards were presented at a luncheon on April 16 at the Metropolitan Campus.
The group was welcomed by FDU President Michael Avaltroni. Benjamin Rifkin, University provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, delivered remarks.
Each group of awardees was introduced by members of President Avaltroni’s leadership team: Kenneth Schneider, senior vice president and chief strategy officer (10 years); Colleen Coppla, senior vice president for University advancement (15 years); Rose D’Ambrosio, vice president for human resources (20 years); Robert Pignatello, senior vice president for government/community relations and strategic initiatives (25 years); Frank Barra, senior vice president and chief financial officer (30 years); Angelo Carfagna, vice president for University communications (35 years); Rifkin introduced this year’s 40-year awardee, Patricia Bazán, language, literature and University core (Flor), and 55-year awardee, Richard Lo Pinto, biological sciences (Metro).
