9:00 AM – 4:00 PM: New Student Move-in and Orientation trips sign-up. Trip spots are first come, first served. Students choose between the American Museum of Natural History or Adventure Aquarium. Location – Student Center.
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Brunch. Location – The Dish, Student Center.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Salad bar, sandwiches and grab-and-go items. Location – The Dish, Student Center.
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Dinner. Location – The Dish, Student Center.
5:00 PM – 5:45 PM: Housing & Residence Life floor meetings, mandatory. Location – Your residence hall.
5:00 PM – 5:45 PM: Family & Guest Reception. Location – Italian Gardens, Outside of Hennessy Hall (The Mansion). Rain location – Lenfell Hall, Hennessy Hall (The Mansion).
5:45 PM: Pre Illumination Ceremony line-up. Location – Outside of the Orangerie.
6:00 PM: Illumination Ceremony. Location – Lenfell Hall, Hennessy Hall (The Mansion).
7:30 PM – 10:30 PM: Ian’s Luau. DJ, food trucks, giveaways, games and more. Location – Library Lawn. Rain location – Twombly Lounge.
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Returning Student Move-in. Location – Student Center.
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Brunch. Location – The Dish, Student Center.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Salad bar, sandwiches and grab-and-go items. Location – The Dish, Student Center.
2:00 PM – 2:30 PM: You’re a Devil Now: Digital Discussion. Self-Service and WebCampus overview. Location – Doerfler Room, First Floor, Monninger Center.
2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: You’re a Devil Now: Skills for Success. An overview of FDU resources and services. Location – Doerfler Room, First Floor, Monninger Center.
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Dinner. Location – The Dish, Student Center.
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Unplugged Campus Adventure. An Amazing Race-style game where students solve clues and challenges in a race across campus. Location – Robert T. Shields Field (Football Field).
7:00 PM: Housing & Residence Life floor meetings, mandatory. Location – Your residence hall.
8:00 PM: Outdoor Movie Night. Showing “Michael” the 2026 Michael Jackson movie. Location – Library Lawn. Rain Location – Twombly Lounge.
9:00 AM: Trip check-in and buses departure. Location – Library Lawn. Rain Location – Student Center.
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Brunch. Location – The Dish, Student Center.

8:00 PM: Outdoor Movie Night. Students vote on social media for the movie choice. Location – Twombly Patio. Rain location – Twombly Lounge.
10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM & 4 PM: Where’s My Class? Resident assistants will take students around campus to help students find their classes. Tours leave at each time slot from the Student Center.

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Target trips. Shuttle departs from basketball court behind the Greg Olsen Student Union. Shuttles to Target depart at 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Shuttles back to campus depart at 9:45 AM, 10:15 AM, 10:45 AM, 11:15 AM and 11:45 AM.

7:30 PM – 10:00 PM: 7:47 Celebration. A sunset celebration with sunset cookies, stuff plush toys, a water slide and a 360 photo booth. Location – Commencement Green. Rain location – Fitness Center.
