Academic Profile

Dr. Amisha Mehta joined the School of Pharmacy in September 2021. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Dr. Mehta serves as a preceptor to students during their experiential rotations in pharmacy practice with a focus on chronic disease state management.

Dr. Mehta’s clinical practice site is located at an Internal Medicine Residency Practice Office in Morristown, New Jersey.

Dr. Mehta completed her PharmD at Rutgers University followed by PGY-1 (Pharmacy Practice) and PGY-2 (Ambulatory Care/Family Medicine) Pharmacy Residency at UPMC St. Margaret in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Mehta also completed a 2-year Faculty Development Fellowship through the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Mehta is a registered pharmacist in New Jersey and is also board certified in pharmacotherapy.
