Academic Profile

Dr. Nogid received her BS in Pharmacy and her Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Long Island University. She went on to complete her post-graduate ASHP-accredited residency training at York Hospital-Wellspan Health in York, PA. After completing her training, Dr. Nogid joined her alma mater, The Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Long Island University. She worked there for 19 years, starting with a faculty appointment in the division of pharmacy practice. Dr. Nogid precepted introductory and advanced pharmacy practice students for acute care rotations and provided clinical pharmacy services as a critical care pharmacy specialist at Bellevue Hospital Center and The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Nogid joined FDU as an associate professor in July 2022.  Dr. Nogid is a registered pharmacist in New York. She has been a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist since 2005. Dr. Nogid is an active member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
