Academic Profile
Dr. Buzinkai began teaching accounting at FDU as an adjunct in the Spring of 2016, before becoming a full-time lecturer in the Fall of 2016, and an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Fall of 2019.
Prior to 2016, Dr. Buzinkai worked for twenty-five years in the industry, working in large corporations in positions such as operating segment Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Treasurer, and Corporate Controller & Chief Accounting Officer. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Dr. Buzinkai’s research interests include the examination of the shareholder effects of attributed-firm responsibility and reputation-repair actions on shareholder value following major corporate events, reviews of accounting standards, as well as audit reporting matters.
