More than 75 alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of Fairleigh Dickinson University Vancouver gathered on June 8, 2026, to celebrate the end of an era and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

The special event, Goodbye Cambie, Hello Oakridge Park, commemorated 19 years of FDU Vancouver’s presence at its Cambie campus, a location that has helped shape thousands of student experiences since opening in 2007.

The celebration brought together members of the FDU community from across generations to reconnect, share memories, and reflect on the impact the Cambie campus has had on students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Attendees enjoyed an afternoon of conversation, storytelling, and appreciation for the place that has been home to FDU Vancouver for nearly two decades.

While the event honored the campus’s history, it also highlighted an exciting future as FDU Vancouver prepares to open its new home at Oakridge Park, one of Canada’s most transformative and innovative urban developments. The new campus will provide students with modern learning environments and enhanced opportunities to connect with industry partners, community organizations, and fellow learners in the heart of Vancouver.

“Our Cambie campus has been the foundation of countless student success stories over the past 19 years,” said Arlette Hernandez Pulido, Director of Enrollment Services. “As we celebrate the memories and achievements created here, we are also looking forward to welcoming future generations of students to our new home at Oakridge Park. This move reflects our continued commitment to providing a personalized, globally focused education that empowers students to achieve their personal and professional goals.”
