Health Studies Programs
Our Health Studies education program focuses on the study of health and healthcare. The Health Studies education program tracks lead to the Bachelor of Science degree (but not necessarily to a professional license). These tracks include science and math courses, as well as courses on topics such as social psychology, professional communication, and population health. Students in the Health Studies program commonly seek to transfer to an undergraduate professional education program (such as the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program) or to apply to a graduate program leading to professional licensure (such as the Physician’s Assistant program or the Doctor of Pharmacy program). Our Health Studies education program offers two tracks – General track and Science track – to meet the needs of diverse students who have different educational goals.
