Enrollment Verification

Confirmation of Enrollment 

Students may require a Confirmation of Enrollment Letter (COE) for immigration purposes, travel, or for an employer. To request a COE, students must fill out a Document Request form.  If they have no outstanding balances with the university, the Office of Enrollment Service will process the request and issue COE to their FDU email address. 

IMPORTANT NOTES: 

  1. The Document Request form will be automatically emailed to us once you click “Finish”.  
  2. COE will include dates of enrollment, academic program, campus attended, current course load status (e.g., Full Time, Part Time), and may include the date/anticipated date of completion. If you are not registered for the current term, we cannot issue a COE.  
  3. Official documents take five (5) working days to be processed.  
  4. Official documents will be emailed to your FDU email address.  
  5. No request will be processed unless all financial and other obligations to the University have been fulfilled.  

For students who opt for rush option, the Office of Enrollment Services will add a $15 USD rush fee to their account and inform them when it is ready to pay. Once the full payment is received, we will process your COE request within one (1) business day. 

Degree Verification 

The National Student Clearinghouse is now our authorized agent for providing degree verifications. If you are an employer or background screening firm requesting this information, please visit www.degreeverify.org.
