Christine and Alex

One woman gives another a piggyback ride in front of Wroxton Abbey.

Christine Peskosky, BA’16 (Flor): We met on an FDU student thesis film set in Maryland over spring
break in 2015. It was my junior year and Alex had already graduated.

CP: Her presence. Her energy. Her antics. Her smile. How she can command and entertain a room. How thoughtful, confident, creative and generous she is!

Alex Murphy, BA’14 (Flor): Christine has always known exactly what to say and how to truly listen. When we first met, I remember talking for hours and feeling like no time had even passed.

CP: Each other! Our first kiss was in a dorm room in Park Avenue [residence hall]. Being able to reminisce about the same places, experiences and people on campus helps keep those memories alive. We both studied abroad at Wroxton College, at different times, then visited together in 2017. That trip inspired us to become a resource for LGBTQ+ travelers.

AM: For me, it’s our careers. We both studied film and worked in the television industry. Today, we’ve pivoted into being full-time content creators. We use skills from FDU to make our videos. It’s like being on a permanent two-person crew!

Two women kiss behind their fire cards.

CP: We dated for nine years before we got engaged and eloped on our 10-year anniversary. We overly communicate, undertake new experiences together and share the same fundamental values. We prioritize being silly, checking in and eating a lot of cheese.

AM: With each new chapter, we’ve fallen in love with the newest iteration of one another. This newest chapter, as wives, has been the best one yet.
