Let’s Celebrate!

May 2022 — May is a busy time on our New Jersey campuses as we host several events to honor our students and graduates.  Several events are celebrated on our campuses before we gather at MetLife Stadium on May 18 for our 79th University Commencement Ceremony honoring the Class of 2022.

Metropolitan Campus

All events are on Commencement Green unless noted otherwise below.

May 6: Silberman College of Business            2 p.m.

Lavender Graduation

Our Lavender Graduation Address will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 7 PM EDT (4 PM PDT) via Zoom so that we can honor graduates from all our campuses. Vidal Lopez, director of student affairs at Ana G. Méndez University, who helped to build the SPECTRUM community on FDU’s Metropolitan Campus, will serve as the speaker. Coordinating the event is Carrie Shanafelt, associate professor in the Department of Literature, Languages, Writing, and Humanities.
