Academic Profile
Dr. Arnold I. Okpani completed his medical training at Ebonyi State University, Nigeria, and earned a Master of Science in Public Health for Development from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, England. He completed his PhD in Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
For nearly two decades and across three continents, Dr. Okpani has worked in frontline healthcare, teaching, research, technical support, health policy making, and implementation. His research focuses on health systems strengthening and evaluation of public health interventions. His research interests span health information systems, occupational health, and maternal and child health.
