Academic Profile
Danielle Henricksen, MSN-Ed, RN, began her nursing career at The Valley Hospital in 2018 after graduating from Ramapo College of New Jersey with her BSN. Throughout her time as a nurse, she has worked within various fields, including Med-Surg, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Orthopedics. She spent much of her time at Valley educating and mentoring new nurses within the new graduate residency program. She also has experience educating and navigating patients throughout the healthcare system (inpatient and outpatient) with varying neurological conditions such as brain tumors, intracranial hemorrhage, and aneurysms.
Throughout the years, Danielle found that educating patients, new nurses, and nursing students was her passion. In 2023, she received her Master’s of Nursing Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Danielle is excited to guide students and share her knowledge within the entry-level nursing program as a Lecturer of Nursing.
