Academic Profile

Dr. Ocheretyaner received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Long Island University.  He went on to complete his post-graduate ASHP-accredited PGY-1 and PGY-2 Infectious diseases residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.  After completing his training, Dr. Ocheretyaner joined the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Long Island University. Dr. Ocheretyaner precepted advanced pharmacy practice students for acute care and internal medicine rotations and provided clinical pharmacy services as an infectious diseases pharmacy specialist at King’s County Hospital Center and Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Ocheretyaner joined FDU as a Clinical Associate Professor in January 2023.  Dr. Ocheretyaner is a registered pharmacist in New Jersey and New York. He has been a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist since 2018 and a board-certified infectious diseases pharmacist since 2019.
