Academic Profile

Madison Silvestri joined the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as a Clinical Assistant Professor in 2026. Dr. Silvestri completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware before earning both her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees from Fairleigh Dickinson University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in May 2025. Following graduation, she completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with Atlantic Health. Dr. Silvestri practices as an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist at the Atlantic Medical Group Internal Medicine Residency Practice, where she precepts pharmacy students during their Ambulatory Care Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations. Together, Dr. Silvestri and her students proactively review patient charts to provide evidence-based pharmacotherapy recommendations to medical residents. They also educate patients on new medications and diagnostic devices, perform medication reconciliation, address polypharmacy concerns,  evaluate potential drug interactions, and help ensure patients receive affordable, formulary-preferred medications.
