Academic Profile

Dr. Rota has served as the Clinical Director of the PA Program since its inception. He obtained his Doctorate in Health Sciences (DHS) from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2019 and his MS in PA Studies from Wagner College in 2011. Dr. Rota’s research interests include active learning, gamified learning theory, early-clinical exposure, simulation learning, and competency-based medical education. He has taught a variety of courses including pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics and technical skills. Dr. Rota has participated in the design and evaluation of PA curriculums and is experienced with the PA accreditation process.
