Academic Profile

Dr. Nicole Ryba joined the School of Pharmacy in August 2015. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Dr. Ryba serves as a preceptor to students during their experiential rotations in pharmacy practice with a focus in geriatrics and assists with teaching at the School of Pharmacy. Dr. Ryba’s clinical practice site is located at Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey. Dr. Ryba received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Northeastern University and completed her ASHP-accredited post-graduate general pharmacy practice residency at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, New Jersey followed by a specialty residency in psychiatry at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. During her first residency year, Dr. Ryba also obtained a teaching certificate through Rutgers. Dr. Ryba is a registered pharmacist in New Jersey and is also board certified in two specialties, psychiatric and geriatric pharmacy. Dr. Ryba enjoys teaching and mentoring future pharmacists to help guide them to a rewarding and fulfilling career.
