Dr. Omotara J. Adewale, DNP, MPH, FNP-BC, NP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, educator, and healthcare leader with over 16 years of clinical experience. She serves as Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Track at FDU, where she leads curriculum development, mentors graduate nursing students, and fosters academic excellence in both didactic and clinical settings.

Dr. Adewale holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Wilmington University, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Rutgers University, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Walden University, and a BSN from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Her interdisciplinary training supports a holistic, evidence-based approach to care focused on prevention, chronic disease management, and health equity.

She maintains advanced practice roles at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and in private practice, specializing in primary care, oncology, obesity medicine, and veterans’ health. Dr. Adewale is a passionate advocate for nurse practitioner leadership and full practice authority, committed to transforming healthcare through innovation, education, and advocacy.
