Policy Committee

The Policy Committee – consists of four to six individuals, representing each of the stakeholder groups (faculty, administration, PAS, Union, students) and chosen by them. The members of the Policy Committee also represent, together, the three degree-granting campuses and serve for a term of one year.

The Policy committee is established to uphold compliance with the University’s Policy on Policies by receiving and reviewing recommendations for new policies and revisions to current policies, ensuring stakeholder review of new and revised policies where appropriate, conducting the process for proposed policy terminations, reviewing departmental/unit policies to ensure they are not in conflict with University policy, and having oversight of the policy library.
