- GSC Decision and Date: VP for Communication relaunched Folks of Fairleigh – members of FDU community can nominate an FDU community member to be profiled through the Folks of Fairleigh recognition program by using this link: https://www.fdu.edu/about/university-leadership-offices/office-of-communication/public-relations/how-to-pitch-us/nominate-for-folks-of-fairleigh/ and VP sent info about the Folks of Fairleigh program to all members of the FDU community by email in February 2026
- Result: The recognition proposal from Council for Community Success helped jumpstart a program that had faded away. In just a day or two of its relaunch, Folks of Fairleigh had received more than 40 nominations of people to recognize!

- GSC Decision and Date: Member of GSC reported that Aramark said: There are many schools in our region that have such a program, but they are all done internally through the universities legal department and Aramark adheres to the university policies. Most of the schools leverage internal communication systems and apps to notify students. The only one that uses a commercially available app is Boston University. Look at https://www.freebites.org/ for reference.
- Result: GSC members will follow up with Risk Management and with Aramark and report back to the Council for Community Success by email and to the University community through the Shared Governance website’s page dedicated to the status of issues in governance.
