Celebrating Collaboration: FDU Vancouver International Partner Appreciation Event 2026

From May 4 to 7, 2026, FDU Vancouver Director of Student Recruitment, David Golesworthy, accompanied by in-country representative Ana Barleta, visited Manila to strengthen ties with local partners and institutions. The trip included meaningful agent visits and school engagements at Lyceum of the Philippines University and De La Salle College of Saint Benilde (DLS CSB), where an institutional briefing and campus tour highlighted the school’s innovative hospitality programs. These activities set the stage for the highlight of the visit—the International Partner Appreciation Event.

A Night of Fun and Connection

On May 6, 2026, FDU Vancouver proudly hosted its Filipino Partner Appreciation Event, a night dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the invaluable contributions of our education partners. The evening was filled with music, laughter, and meaningful connections. With over 30 partners and guests, everyone enjoyed an atmosphere of camaraderie, with singing, dancing, games, and networking, creating unforgettable memories.

Honouring Our Partners

During the event, we also shared insights about FDU Vancouver, highlighting the strength of the Filipino community both on campus and in Vancouver, BC. As a gesture of gratitude, tokens and plaques of appreciation were presented to our partner agents, symbolizing our deep appreciation for their trust and continued support.

Looking Ahead

This Manila trip reaffirmed FDU Vancouver’s commitment to building strong, lasting partnerships in the Philippines. With the momentum gained from the school visits and the International Partner Appreciation Event, we look forward to welcoming more Filipino students to Vancouver and continuing to provide them with world-class education and opportunities.
