Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) Vancouver Campus is proud to announce the FDU Vancouver Distinguished Alumni Awards Night, taking place on October 14, as one of the signature events celebrating the grand opening of FDU Vancouver’s new campus at Oakridge Park. Serving as the opening highlight of the university’s three-day grand opening celebration, the event will recognize three outstanding alumni whose leadership, professional excellence, and commitment to service continue to make a meaningful impact on FDU and in their communities.  The celebration will honour graduates who exemplify FDU Vancouver’s mission of Transforming Lives Through Education through their accomplishments, leadership, and dedication to creating positive change. The event will bringing together alumni, students, faculty, staff, and industry partners who will celebrate the remarkable achievements of the FDU Vancouver alumni community while strengthening connections across generations of graduates.

Three alumni will be recognized during the ceremony whose work, career journey and accomplishments reflect the mission of FDU Vancouver.

  • The Pinnacle Alumni Award recipient, Fernanda Foschi, graduate of Master of Administrative Studies, is recognized as a graduate whose exceptional leadership, professional achievement, and service have made a lasting impact on FDU Vancouver and the broader community.
  • The Volunteer of the Year Award recipient, Maanik Puri, graduate of Bachelor of Science in Individualized Studies, is recognized as an alumnus or alumna whose outstanding volunteer service has strengthened the FDU Vancouver community through student support, alumni engagement, fundraising, and community outreach.
  • The Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipient, Nicole Dang, graduate of Bachelor of Business Administration program, is recognized as an exceptional graduate aged 29 or younger who has demonstrated outstanding professional achievement, leadership, and meaningful contributions to FDU Vancouver early in their career.
