FDU Vancouver joined leaders from across British Columbia’s life sciences community at the 28th Annual Life Sciences BC Awards on September 9, 2026, at the Vancouver Convention Centre West.
The annual awards bring together leaders from industry, government, academia, and the community to recognize individuals and organizations advancing health innovation across British Columbia. This year’s event highlighted achievements in scientific innovation, entrepreneurship, business growth, and talent development within the province’s growing life sciences ecosystem.
For FDU Vancouver, attending the event provided an opportunity to connect with organizations and leaders shaping the future of health and life sciences in B.C. These connections complement the University’s growing focus on healthcare education, workforce development, and stronger collaboration between education and industry.
FDU Vancouver’s Master of Health Administration (MHA) is designed for current and aspiring healthcare leaders and develops skills in leadership, management, policy, operations, and strategic decision-making within complex healthcare systems. The University’s Master of Administrative Studies (MAS) also offers a specialization in Global Health and Human Services Administration, with studies in areas such as global health systems, health policy, epidemiology, healthcare information, and healthcare operations.
Together, these programs reflect FDU Vancouver’s broader commitment to connecting education with the changing needs of healthcare and other important sectors in British Columbia. With its new campus at Oakridge Park, FDU Vancouver continues to create opportunities that bring education and industry closer together while preparing learners to contribute to evolving sectors across British Columbia.
