FDU Vancouver is proud to celebrate the recent publication of Strategic Thinking with AI: Foresight, Tools, and Leadership for the Digital Age by Dr. Hossein Hakimpour, Senior Lecturer at the FDU Vancouver. The book explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping strategic management, leadership, governance, organizational foresight, and executive decision-making in today’s rapidly evolving business environment.
As conversations around responsible AI integration continue to grow across industries and higher education, this publication reflects the increasing importance of preparing leaders and organizations for the digital age. Developed for executives, graduate students, faculty members, consultants, and organizational leaders, the book offers practical and research-informed insights into the role of AI in strategic thinking and organizational transformation.
“Artificial intelligence does not replace strategic thinking- it amplifies it,” mentioned by Dr. Hakimpour. “The true challenge for leaders is not adopting AI, but integrating it with foresight, responsibility, and human judgment to navigate complexity and shape a more resilient future.”
Key themes explored throughout the publication include AI-augmented strategic management frameworks, responsible AI governance, leadership and decision-making, and the role of AI in navigating VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) environments and digital transformation.
We are also excited to see the book already contributing to graduate-level discussions in strategic management and leadership courses, supporting curriculum innovation and AI-focused academic initiatives at the university level.
This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation, future-focused education, and interdisciplinary learning. Dr. Hakimpour’s publication further strengthens our academic community’s engagement with emerging technologies and contributes to important conversations surrounding responsible AI adoption in business education and leadership development.
