Vancouver Campus Graduation
Graduation is an important occasion. It is the culmination of all your hard work during your time at Fairleigh Dickinson University. If you are a student about to graduate, we want to congratulate you on your achievements.
Fairleigh Dickinson University recognizes its graduates at Commencement Ceremonies that are held once a year in May at its campuses in New Jersey and Vancouver. This is a special occasion for you to celebrate with your friends and family. Students graduating from the Vancouver campus are invited to participate in both ceremonies.
Due to COVID-19, Commencements at both campuses have been canceled. Instead, the university will be conferring degrees virtually on May 18. We hope to be able to have an in-person ceremony should circumstances allow later in 2020, however, if that is not possible, 2020 graduates will be invited to attend the May 2021 ceremony. [more]
Students who are eligible for graduation must declare their candidacy one semester prior to their anticipated graduation.
Eligibility and Declaration
Students who are near completion of their degree requirements must declare for graduation in Webadvisor using the ‘Application for graduation’ link one term prior to their last term of studies. All students should review their program requirements and checksheets with their Academic Advisor to ensure they have met their degree requirements.
